In Home Caregiver

Overview

New Hope is seeking to hire full-time and part-time caregivers to provide reliable and compassionate in-home non-medical care for our clients in the Smyrna area. The position starts at $14 per hour. As a caregiver, you will assist with basic everyday needs (including, but not limited to, cooking, cleaning, transportation, and companionship). This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys serving the elderly community.

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in caregiving
• Pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license or state
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, compassion, and reliability

• Provide home care and assistance to clients
• Assist with personal care tasks and meal planning/preparation
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with medication reminders
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is required (family experience is acceptable)
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
