Join Solis Mammography as a Patient Service Representative – the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and compassionate experience.

Work Location:

537 Stone Crest Pkwy, Suite 202, Smyrna, TN 37167

Work Hours:

Full‑Time, 40 hours weekly, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5:00 pm

Occasional Coverage: 3443 Dickerson Pike, Suite 260, Nashville, TN 37207

Here Is What You Will Need
  • High School diploma.
  • Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cash handling.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but sometimes complex written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of RIS software preferred.
A Day in the Life of a Patient Service Representative
  • Guides patients through the Solis experience, welcoming them in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Registers patients, accurately inputting demographic and insurance information into RIS and verifying existing data.
  • Explains forms and assists with completion via paper or tablet.
  • Scans and processes necessary paperwork, ensuring confidentiality and proper medical record linkage.
  • Collects patient payments; explains benefits and performs insurance verification when necessary.
  • Prepares paperwork for future appointments and specific exams or payors.
  • Ensures diagnostic tests have required orders; requests and follows up on outstanding requests.
  • Schedules and reschedules patients as needed.
  • Generates daily invoice journal at day’s end and reconciles payments using the Daily Reconciliation Report.
  • Participates in front‑office training to stay current on policy and procedures.
