Auto Clamp Machine Set-Up Operator - 3rd Shift

Base pay range: $22.75/hr - $24.54/hr

The Automatic Clamp Machine (ACM) Set-Up Operator will operate the automatic clamp assembly machine and press. We are seeking a 3rd shift operator to join our team at Ideal Tridon Group.

Shift: 3rd (11:00pm-7:00am)

Schedule:

Sunday-Thursday

• Sets up and calibrates machinery and equipment, according to production specifications and instructions.
• Adjusts machine settings, parameters, and controls as needed to optimize production efficiency, minimize waste, and meet production targets and deadlines.
• Performs routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery and equipment, to ensure proper functioning and prolong equipment lifespan.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions or adjustments to resume production and prevent a recurrence.
• Records production data, including machine settings, material usage, production output, downtime, and quality control results, in production logs or computerized systems.
• Follows safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant work environment for oneself and others.
• Collaborates with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate production schedules, prioritize tasks, and address production-related issues or concerns.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Technical knowledge and understanding of machinery and equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and operational issues.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet production deadlines.
• Basic computer skills to operate computerized control systems.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials.

• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience required.
• One year of related machine setup operation or other relevant hands‑on mechanical experience is required.

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.
• May occasionally climb stairs, drive forklifts, and operate equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
