Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: December 9, 2025
Location: Smyrna, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: At least one weekend within a 4-week period; blocked scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis

Highlights:

• 54-bed Medical-Surgical unit including a dedicated 11-bed Orthopedic and Spine unit
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 for RNs with collaborative RN/LPN team structure and PCT support
• Documentation via Meditech; equipment includes Alaris pumps, remote telemetry, wound vacs, specialty beds, and more
• Work at an ACS Certified, Spine & Joint Accredited, Leapfrog Top 100 Hospital and Hernia Center of Excellence
• Access to advanced technology including bladder scanners, Mobi Lab, Patient Keeper, Inspire App, and Wound Capture systems
• Supportive team culture with tenured staff, flexible scheduling, and consistent leadership communication

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Strong assessment, prioritization, critical thinking, and time management skills
• Punctual, organized, and effective communicator with a positive, team-oriented attitude
