American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring TNCC, CPI, and critical care experience with TN or compact RN licensure.

• 39-bed Emergency Department in the main hospital
• Patient ratio of 4:1 with surge bed assigned to each section
• Support staff includes free lead, unit clerk, sitters for behavioral health, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs
• Uses Rapid Infuser and Glidescope equipment
• Documentation via Meditech EDM
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Performs procedures including intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications required
• Experience with critical care drips, sedation, ESI, and codes required
• Experience with STEMI, stroke, and sepsis required
• Trauma experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Provide emergency department nursing care as part of a collaborative care team
• Focus on delivering a strong patient experience through teamwork and personalized care
• Required dress code is charcoal grey scrubs
• Unit recognizes staff through Employee of the Month and patient experience recognitions
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, local candidates not accepted
