Location: Atlanta, GA

Base Pay: $150,000 - $170,000 per year

Job Function: Accounting/Auditing & Finance

• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Manage and supervise daily accounting department operations: month‑end processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts; report variances.
• Manage and comply with local, state, federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Meet financial accounting objectives.
• Work closely with project management teams to ensure accurate and timely capture of all WIP and cost accounting data.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
  Master's degree or CPA highly desirable (Big 4 experience a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years of senior‑level finance or accounting experience, preferably in construction industry.
• Proven experience as a financial leader with strong understanding of WIP, cost accounting, and general contractor accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; awareness of construction industry's unique financial challenges and opportunities.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Viewpoint Vista or similar preferred).
• Exceptional leadership skills, proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
