Location: Atlanta, GA
Base Pay: $150,000 - $170,000 per year

Job Function: Accounting/Auditing & Finance
Responsibilities- Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Manage and supervise daily accounting department operations: month‑end processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts; report variances.
- Manage and comply with local, state, federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Work closely with project management teams to ensure accurate and timely capture of all WIP and cost accounting data.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
Master's degree or CPA highly desirable (Big 4 experience a plus). - Minimum of 5 years of senior‑level finance or accounting experience, preferably in construction industry.
- Proven experience as a financial leader with strong understanding of WIP, cost accounting, and general contractor accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; awareness of construction industry's unique financial challenges and opportunities.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Viewpoint Vista or similar preferred).
- Exceptional leadership skills, proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
