Overview
Piedmont Oncology, Piedmont Healthcare's newly reorganized cancer program, is recruiting a board certified/board eligible medical hematology/oncology physician for its Piedmont Eastside Hospital location in Snellville, GA. Piedmont Eastside is a 40 minute commute from Atlanta proper and Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
This position will support a rapidly growing and evolving cancer program both locally and across the 23-hospital system. This new physician will support and expand the clinical excellence aligned with discovery and innovation associated with Piedmont Oncology.
The ideal BC/BE candidate will be self-motivated to excel as a clinician and work well with other providers both locally and across Piedmont Oncology. The BE/BC candidate will require a Georgia medical license. He/she must have strong communication skills and genuine compassion for the patients and the patients family/support teams. Piedmont Oncology will provide numerous opportunities to participate in and lead research and care pathway initiatives across the system.
Responsibilities- Support a rapidly growing cancer program locally and across the Piedmont Healthcare system.
- Engage in clinical excellence aligned with discovery and innovation within Piedmont Oncology.
- Collaborate with other providers locally and across Piedmont Oncology.
- Board certified or board eligible in medical hematology/oncology (BC/BE).
- Georgia medical license.
- Strong communication skills and genuine compassion for patients and families.
