Ameri Corps VISTA position located in Atlanta, GA.

As Diamond in The Rough seeks to prepare girls for college and careers beyond high school, the CROWNS College & Career Program provides guidance to students and families through monthly workshops, guest speakers, career & educational field trips, and college preparation. The Coordinator will build partnerships with colleges/universities to ensure girls/families understand admissions, financial aid, test requirements, and curriculum readiness, and will seek resources to expose DITR girls to STEAM and other underrepresented fields.

• Build partnerships and relationships with colleges/universities to clarify admissions, financial aid, and test requirements.
• Identify resources and opportunities to expose DITR girls to career opportunities, especially in STEAM-related fields and other career areas with limited representation of women of color.
