Overview
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

- MINIMUM
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program. - Minimum Experience
Required:
Four (4) years of experience. - Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law: ARDMS registered in at least 3 specialties (does not include RVT).
- Additional Qualifications:
BLS certified. Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is preferred.
