Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will work with individuals, particularly children, with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities. Your role will involve implementing behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help clients improve their social, communication, and daily living skills.
ResponsibilitiesThe RBT will provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA. The RBT will implement behavior intervention plans and collect data on client progress. The RBT will assist in developing and maintaining individualized treatment and behavior plans. Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing behavior strategies. Document client progress and maintain accurate medical records.
Support clients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and social interactions. Conduct structured teaching sessions based on the principles of ABA.
The RBT requires prior experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities. Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and techniques. The RBT will need the ability to work effectively with children and adolescents. Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus. Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices.
