Overview

Perform duties of distribution, documentation, and compounding related to drugs, solutions, and equipment to meet the needs of patients and staff.

Review, compound, dispense, and monitor medication therapy for infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including dosing variations, nutritional needs, and disease states associated with the various age groups.

Supervise pharmacy technician activities, including monitoring all orders filled by auxiliary personnel. Assume responsibility for competency and self‑development in professional pharmacy practice.

Provide patient‑focused care clinical activities throughout the hospital to offer optimal medication therapy.

7 on/7 off, Evenings 2:30 pm–1 am

• Bachelor’s Degree – Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelors or higher in Pharmacy (Required)

• NA (Required)
• Hospital pharmacy experience (Preferred)

• Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of Georgia (Required)
