We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading vehicle rental fleet company, for the position of Vehicle Technician / LCV Vehicle Technician in Snodland, Kent. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct maintenance, servicing, and warranty repairs on a fleet of approximately 900 vehicles, including cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment
  • Carry out repairs, part replacements, and preventative maintenance to meet manufacturer standards
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing, ensuring compliance with safety and roadworthiness standards
  • Ensure vehicles are returned to customers promptly, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Prioritise workload effectively, working within standard job times and company policies
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering
  • Proven workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician or commercial vehicle mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work efficiently within a team
  • Pride in delivering high-quality work adhering to compliance standards
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing workload demands
  • Enthusiastic team player with a proactive, can-do attitude and excellent customer focus
