Key Responsibilities
- Managing sub‑contracts: issuing tender enquiries, awarding contracts, and assessing monthly payment applications
- Supporting the preparation of monthly CVRs and forecasts (internal and client‑facing)
- Assisting with final account agreements and substantiations
- Ensuring compliance with Tarmac and client processes to mitigate commercial risk
- Accurately valuing completed work and ensuring timely cash collection
- Preparing and submitting monthly applications for payment
- Issuing early warning notices and managing compensation events
- Company vehicle provided
- Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
- Occasional UK travel to support wider team needs
- Previous experience in surfacing or highways infrastructure projects
- Strong drive and ambition to succeed
- NEC3/4 contract experience (highly desirable)
- Solid sub‑contract administration skills
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Commercial awareness and process‑driven mindset
- Willingness to travel between sites as required
- Degree‑level qualification preferred
- HND or Qualified by Experience (QBE) also considered
Based at our Snodland Office in Kent. Easily commutable from Snodland, Maidstone, Aylesford, Chatham, Rochester, Gillingham, West Malling, Kings Hill, Gravesend, Sittingbourne, Tonbridge, and surrounding areas.
