You’ll support our Project Managers in delivering a diverse portfolio of water infrastructure projects, ensuring we deliver on time and on budget while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

Ensure the appropriate administration of all Engineering, mainly the NEC framework contracts. Support the Project Managers in contract administration and commercial negotiations. Help draft NEC compliant contracts and support the technical Engineering team in drafting compliant works information sections and scopes. Report monthly project performance against key KPIs. Assess pricing and risk elements of tender returns or quotations. Complete directorate reporting of forecast completion, cost and value to date, forecast outturn and planned completion for all projects within the allocated portfolio.
Advocate and support continual improvement of the department’s processes and procedures, including adjustments to contracts as required. Support the department’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing approach by visiting site and completing a safety observation and supporting safe sites. Actively undertake appropriate training in company mandatory areas with focus on NEC contract training and seeking RICS chartership status. Manage Early Warning, Compensation Event and Risk tools as well as business systems.
& Experience
- Degree level in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- Excellent team management skills.
- Excellent report writing, editorial skills and good oral communication.
- Delivery focused with a good team ethic and organisational skills.
- Experience in quantity surveying or contract management in the construction industry with practical awareness of NEC contracts and contract administration.
- Understanding of the Health and Safety regulations that affect the area of work.

£55,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
