As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Geologist / Engineering Geologist to join our Geotechnical, Infrastructure division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Geologist / Engineering Geologist to join our GI Operations team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in geotechnical disciplines, along with knowledge of ground investigation techniques and BS5930:2015+A1:2020, is essential to thrive in this position.
Responsibilities- Planning, supervision and programming of ground investigation projects
- Logging soil and rock in accordance with BS5930:2015+A1:2020
- Performing in-situ testing and sampling to current technical standards
- Degree‑level qualification in a geotechnical discipline
- 2‑5 years experience of Ground Investigation works (or similar)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
