We’re looking for a dedicated Geologist / Engineering Geologist to join our clients Geotechnical, Infrastructure division.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Geologist / Engineering Geologist to join our GI Operations team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in geotechnical disciplines, along with knowledge of ground investigation techniques and BS5930:2015+A1:2020, is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Planning, supervision and programming of ground investigation projects

• Logging soil and rock in accordance with BS5930:2015+A1:2020

• Performing in-situ testing and sampling to current technical standards

Qualifications

To be a successful Geologist / Engineering Geologist, you should be able to demonstrate:

• Degree-level qualification in a geotechnical discipline

• 2-5 years experience of Ground Investigation works (or similar)

• Full UK driving licence

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
