Position OverviewThe Team Member position at Ambrosia QSR is a variable‑hour position focused on delivering outstanding guest service, ensuring food safety and quality, and adhering to all company policies. Job Responsibilities- Arrive on time and adhere to clock‑in/out procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance in a clean uniform and slip‑resistant shoes.
- Promote a positive work environment by collaborating with team members, assisting guests, and supporting leadership.
- Maintain a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Follow hygiene and food safety protocols, including frequent handwashing.
- Prioritize workplace health and safety by not reporting to work when ill; notify management promptly if unavailable for a scheduled shift.
- Assist guests at the front counter and drive‑thru, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing personalized recommendations.
- Address guest concerns promptly and, when necessary, elevate issues to management to ensure satisfaction.
- Circulate throughout the restaurant to enhance the guest experience and maintain cleanliness.
- Identify guest needs by asking questions and providing product recommendations.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations while using equipment correctly and responsibly.
- Wear a headset to streamline communication and ensure order accuracy.
- Perform janitorial duties in kitchen, storage areas, restrooms, dining areas, drive‑thru, and dumpster area.
- Complete all assigned duties promptly and efficiently as directed by management.
- Ensure all food orders, specialty drinks, and desserts follow company recipes, brand standards, and are accurately recorded in the POS system.
- Maintain well‑stocked workstations, ensure proper portioning, and organize deliveries using FIFO method.
- Follow company policies and procedures for cash to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance with financial guidelines.
- No prior experience required; many leaders began as team members.
- Experience handling cash or POS system is a plus.
- Understand basic cleanliness and safety standards to support a safe and hygienic environment.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Obtain a Food Handlers permit within 2 weeks of hire.
- Ensure compliance with all required training per local, state, and federal laws.
- Must comply with minor work laws and provide completed work authorization within the first week of hire (if applicable).
- Able to communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and management.
- Demonstrate the core Cultural Foundations of Energy, Engagement, Empathy, and Execution in all interactions.
Physical Requirements
The environment is fast‑paced, high‑energy, and dynamic, requiring multitasking and organization under pressure. The role involves frequent interaction with customers, standing, walking, and moving throughout the shift. Flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays, is required.
