Golf Cart and Equipment Set Up Technician
We are currently seeking a Golf Cart and Equipment Set Up Technician at our Snohomish branch. This is a full‑time position that offers a chance for a mechanically inclined individual to build a career outside of the standard automotive industry. The role involves small engine repair, electrical diagnosis, accessory installation and design, and equipment assembly.
Responsibilities- Assemble new golf carts for stock/fleet/retail sales and install requested accessories.
- Perform complete inspection and refurbishment of pre‑owned golf carts, including replacement of cowl/body/roof, installation of accessories, and custom wheels/tires.
- Clean and detail units prior to sale.
- Perform thorough pre‑delivery inspections to ensure quality.
- Setup golf cars and turf equipment.
- Diagnose and repair all makes and models of golf cars.
- Write accurate service reports reflecting work performed and parts used.
- Maintain equipment and ensure tools are in good working condition.
- Maintain general housekeeping duties in the shop and on property.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure consistent workflow.
- Support safety policies.
- Read, write and communicate with co‑workers and managers.
- Minimum 1 year of applicable experience in vehicle accessory installation, equipment set‑up, mechanics, technician roles, or maintenance. Golf industry experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic tools.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions clearly.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely during a shift; heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, twisting, and pulling expected daily.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; must be insurable.
Hourly rate: $23–$25 per hour, based on experience.
