what you’ll do:
- safely and efficiently operate and maintain a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver product to residential, commercial and industrial job sites.
- perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
- maintain strict adherence to safety, environmental and dot regulations.
- ensure product quality and order accuracy.
- maintain positive customer relationships by providing professional and courteous service.
- keep your truck clean and free of buildup, for optimal performance and professional appearance.
- assist with precast block production, yard maintenance, and general labor duties as needed.
what we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred (willing to train for concrete).
- valid class b cdl (class a preferred), current dot medical card, and an insurable driving record.
- experience in ready-mix concrete delivery or other construction-related trucking is a plus.
- ability to effectively communicate with dispatch, co-workers and customers.
- strong understanding of safe driving practices and dot regulations.
- ability to perform physical tasks, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in all weather conditions.
- flexibility to work varying start times, overtime and occasional saturdays as needed.
- familiarity with the local delivery routes and job sites a plus.
