Join Snoqualmie Valley Health as a full‑time Medical Assistant. We offer a competitive pay range of $25.04‑$36.47 per hour and a $5,000 Sign‑On Bonus for two full‑time FTE hirees.

Responsibilities- Interview patients and obtain current condition, vital signs, weight, and height.
- Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for physicians or providers.
- Record patients’ medical, social, family, and surgical histories; obtain outside records.
- Perform waived and quality‑control tests; collect and log specimens for laboratory testing.
- Manage patient message inbox and make outbound calls as instructed.
- Enter orders and referrals into the EMR per provider instructions.
- Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, and instructions to patients.
- Assist physicians during procedures, including sterile set‑up and instrument handling.
- Perform tasks such as EKG, venipuncture, injections, ear lavage, nebulizer treatments, pulmonary function tests, and sutures removal.
- Maintain state vaccine records via the Washington Immunization Information System.
- Prepare prescription refills and paper documents for provider signatures.
- Clean and sterilize instruments, dispose of contaminated supplies, and stock exam rooms.
- Perform occupational health tasks as assigned.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; comply with HIPAA.
- Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
Education: High School Diploma and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Experience: Successful completion of a medical assisting externship and at least one year of on‑the‑job experience.
Additional Eligibility: Active MA certification or registration with the State of Washington.
Skills- Proficient knowledge of English language grammar and composition.
- Understand diagnostic and treatment techniques for human injuries, diseases, and deformities.
Requires full body motion, including lifting, bending, stooping, stretching, kneeling, and handling patients. Manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, and use of a keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment are necessary. Exposure to bodily fluids and communicable diseases is part of the job.

Eligibility Requirements:
Employees must be scheduled at least 20 hours per week. Waiting period: first of the month following hire date. Dependent benefits: legal spouse/domestic partner and dependent children up to age 26.
Flu shot or documented exemption required during flu season. Snoqualmie Valley Hospital is a drug‑free workplace; a drug screening is part of onboarding.
