The Tubing Park Hill Lead provides day-to-day leadership for either the Top or Bottom Hill operation as assigned. Reporting to the Tubing Park Manager and taking operational direction from the Hill Supervisor, this role assigns Attendants and Operators, coordinates rotations and breaks, and ensures the assigned area is ready for operation. Success means maintaining safe guest flow, clear staff direction, and strong communication between the Top and Bottom Hill operations throughout the day.
Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit ated an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long.
Responsibilities Long Term Thinking- Watch for lost and found items and help guests retrieve lost or dropped belongings.
- Support either the Top or Bottom Hill operation as assigned.
- Coordinate with the other Hill Lead and Hill Supervisor throughout the day.
- Ensure assigned Hill area is set up and ready for operations.
- Delegate setup tasks to Attendants and Operators.
- Coordinate tube and carpet setup before opening.
- Maintain assigned Hill area, including signs and barriers, throughout the operating day.
- Collect garbage and debris in work areas.
- Monitor guests for safety and appropriate tickets.
- Monitor employees for safety.
- Snow removal with various hand tools.
- Greet or acknowledge guests in your area in a friendly manner.
- Answer guest questions and provide information on procedures or policies.
- Assign Attendants and Operators to required positions.
- Coordinate staff rotations between Hill positions.
- Coordinate breaks and lunches while maintaining adequate Hill coverage.
- Provide direction and support to Attendants and Operators.
- Communicate staffing and operational needs with Hill leadership.
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A minimum of 1 year prior leadership experience or equivalent.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency in a language other than English.

Wage and Benefit Info:- The wage range for this positions is: from $23.00-$24.50/hr
- This is a non-benefited role.
- All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2-year vesting cliff).
- All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
