The Tubing Park Hill Supervisor oversees daily outdoor Tubing Park operations, including operational readiness, staffing, safety, guest flow, and team leadership. Reporting to the Tubing Park Manager, this role provides direction and support to the Top and Bottom Hill Leads and helps ensure the outdoor operation is staffed and ready for each session. The Hill Supervisor also supports training, administrative responsibilities, emergency response, and escalated guest concerns.
Success means maintaining a safe, organized operation while developing staff and responding effectively as conditions change.
Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit ated an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long.
Responsibilities Long Term Thinking- Assists with pre-season tubing operations set up.
- Contributes to the development of training programs and the planning and conducting of crew meetings.
- Observes park in regard to safety of staff and guests; moves and adjusts safety devices and barriers accordingly.
- Oversee daily outdoor operations and ensure the Tubing Park is staffed and ready for opening each day.
- Provide direction and operational support to the Top and Bottom Hill Leads.
- Monitor Hill staffing, guest flow, and operational needs throughout the day.
- Ensure daily closing procedures are completed.
- Correct handling of emergency situations.
- Operate equipment necessary for the job: lifts, hand tools, snow grooming tools and tubes.
- Snow removal with various hand tools.
- Perform assigned tasks not necessarily related to this specific job, but essential to the successful operation of the resort.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Promote good guest relations and assist with resolving escalated guest concerns.
- Train, coach, and support Hill Leads, Attendants, and Operators.
- Assists the Tubing Manager with various administrative duties.
- Coordinate daily staffing assignments with the Top and Bottom Hill Leads.
- Provide leadership coverage and support when operational needs change.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English.
- A problem-resolving and positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of food handling procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years' prior supervisory experience.
- Prior supervisory experience in the resort industry.
- Outgoing, guest-focused personality.

Wage and Benefit Info:
The wage range for this positions is: from $25.50 to $28.65/hr
This is a non-benefited role.
All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2-year vesting cliff).
All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
