We are seeking a motivated Intelligent Process Automation Software Engineer to join our IT Applications team in Snoqualmie, WA. In this hands‑on role, you will design, develop, and deploy automation solutions that bridge legacy systems and modern SaaS platforms to streamline business operations and enhance efficiency.
As a key member of our team, you will leverage traditional automation tools and AI‑driven technologies to transform business processes. You'll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand operational challenges, apply automation best practices, and deliver innovative solutions that meet functional, performance, and cybersecurity requirements. This position requires a comprehensive systems approach to automation, technical expertise across multiple platforms, and a passion for digital transformation.
You will work with various automation technologies, scripting languages, and cloud platforms while participating in all phases of the development lifecycle—from architecture and design through deployment and testing.
This position is HYBRID based in Snoqualmie, Washington, with the expectation of working onsite 3+ days per week. The ideal candidate will live locally, as Spacelabs is not offering relocation assistance for this role.
Responsibilities- Evaluate, design, and implement automated workflows using Microsoft tools and other leading cloud/AI platforms, including Generative AI and AI agentic automation solutions.
- Integrate legacy applications (e.g., on‑premises ERP systems) with modern SaaS platforms such as Dynamics 365 and Oracle CPQ.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
- Participate in software requirements reviews, architecture design, and connectivity interface design.
- Develop, debug, document, and release automation software in an agile development environment.
- Monitor and optimize existing workflows for performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot or equivalent AI tools to accelerate development, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Provide comprehensive documentation, training, and support to end users and business teams.
- Ensure all automation implementations meet cybersecurity, AI governance, and compliance standards.

- 2+ years of software development experience using Python, Java, JavaScript, or equivalent languages.
- 2+ years of experience developing solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar (master's degree preferred).
