Job Description

Pay range: $20.29–$28 per hour. Benefits include mileage reimbursement and tips.

Job Duties

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment daily.
• Deliver product by car to customer doors and deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate the designated delivery area, including multi‑story buildings and private homes.
• Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking, climbing, and driving.
• Maintain a safe driving record and access an insured vehicle.
• Use navigation tools and map reading skills.

Training

Orientation and on‑the‑job training will be provided.

Essential Functions / Skills

• Arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, divide accurately; use calculator if needed. Provide correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and phone communication skills.
• Motor coordination to handle equipment and deliver food.
• Typing and computer proficiency to enter orders.

Physical Demands

• Standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
• Carrying, pushing, and pulling trays and equipment.
• Climbing stairs, walking into buildings, and balancing with pizza boxes.
• Reaching, bending, and squatting over work areas.
• Consistent eye‑hand coordination for cooking and handling food.

Work Conditions

• Varying weather conditions while delivering; exposure to temperature extremes.
• Physical environment includes walk‑in coolers, ovens up to 500 °F, and cramped spaces.
• Exposure to smoke, dust, and food odors.

Eligibility

Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, access to an insured car, and ability to navigate urban and suburban delivery sites.
