Substitute teaching is a meaningful way to support students while earning a reliable income. We ask that substitutes accept at least two assignments per week (when available) to remain active in our substitute pool. Substitutes are paid once per month.
Mandatory Training: To begin the school year as a substitute, all substitutes must attend a required training session on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
Compensation Highlights:
With a Bachelor's Degree or Higher:
- $100 per day
- $125 per day* – Long-Term Sub Assignment
Without a Degree:
- $80 per day
- $100 per day* – Long-Term Sub Assignment
- Long-Term Sub Assignment = 21 consecutive school days in the same position. The increased rate is retroactive to Day 1 after the 21st day is completed.
