Job Description

A Domino’s Cashier position requires candidates who can handle monetary transactions in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be personable, computer savvy, resourceful, and self-motivated with a talent for administering customer service. They must be able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greets all customers politely upon entering the restaurant, by phone, or drive‑through.
  • Accurately records orders at the counter, on the phone, and at the drive‑through.
  • Processes orders through the Pulse system to ensure proper preparation.
  • Monitors ready orders and ensures their prompt delivery to waiting customers.
  • Helps expedite and complete orders with all sides and extras.
  • Up‑sold in‑store promotions when applicable.
  • Collects money from customers and provides correct change.
  • Processes credit card and debit card transactions.
  • Keeps track of the cash drawer and balances it at shift end.
  • Uses a drop box to maintain cash levels in the till.
  • Listens to and resolves customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
  • Maintains the front counter stocked, organized, neat, and clean.
  • Keeps the box hutch and other box‑stocking areas clean and stocked.
  • Cleans the dining area by wiping tables and booth seating, sweeping floors, and trash removal.
  • Sweeps floors regularly and mops when needed.
  • Cleans windows on front doors and throughout the lobby.
  • Restocks napkins, straws, lids, Parmesan/Red Pepper shakers, and other supplies.
  • Maintains the Soda Machine area and Coke coolers.
  • Restocks public and employee restrooms throughout the shift.
  • Helps with cooking and kitchen tasks as backup when needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to understand and work with numbers.
  • Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
  • Can follow directions and achieve goals.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow a schedule, arrive on time, wear proper uniform, and work efficiently.
  • Effective communication with a variety of clientele.
Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is a plus but not required. No prior experience is needed; on‑the‑job training will be provided. Sales or customer‑service experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The role involves a high volume of guests on each shift, standing for long periods, and frequent hand sanitization. Temperature, noise, and moving equipment such as conveyor ovens and warming shelves may contribute to physical strain.
