ShiftMonday - Friday 11:00am - 7:00pm. At times there is a need to come in earlier in the day for coverage.
A valid NYS driver's license is required.

POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for providing direct and indirect services to clients and families.
- Provides direct client services including case management, group counseling, skills training, ADLs and transportation.
- Assists with orientation and supervision of Resident Counselors.
- Monitor/audit all documentation and medication procedures.
Bachelor’s Degree in liberal arts or related field and two years experience within the mental health field preferred. Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTSWill maintain yearly in-service training. All Program Counselors employed on the inpatient psychiatric unit (3-6) must become and maintain certification as a PMCS (Preventing, Managing Crisis Situations) trainer.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDSClinical setting. Exposure Class I - Routine or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions or secretions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSMedium work. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, push and pull.
WORK CONTACT GROUPAll services, employees, medical staff, patients, visitors, vendors, and various regulatory and professional agencies.
SUPERVISED BYManager or Clinical Coordinator
Pay Range$22.85 - $33.40 per hour.
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
