Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing, New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license, federal and state DEA license, ANCC certification, and a minimum of two years' experience in an ER setting.
Key Responsibilities- Performs entire patient care continuum of urgent care and acute patients in the Emergency Department
- Utilizes available physician resources appropriately
- Demonstrates high confidence in treating patients
- Available for Primary Patient Care for patients of all ages
- 1728 clinical hours per year
- 12x12 hour shifts per month (11am-11pm)
- 30-35 patients per day
- No Call Physician on every shift
