The Charge Nurse at the Family Birth Center provides clinical and operational supervision during shifts, working closely with nursing leadership to ensure quality patient care. This role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing with an expectation of BSN completion, along with nursing experience and certifications in NRP and fetal monitoring. Employed by a major healthcare system, the position supports improving patient and community health through effective management and leadership.
Overview:
Under the direction of the Nursing Director, the Charge Nurse works with the Department RN Manager and RN Assistant Manager as a part of the management/leadership team to provide clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes.

Qualifications:
• Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire
• Minimum One year of nursing experience required
• NRP and Fetal Monitoring
