Soddy Daisy Middle School is a 6-8 school located in Soddy Daisy, TN, just north of Chattanooga. SDMS is a smaller middle school in a very tight knit community. Our school is much like an extended family for the staff who work here. SDMS is an open enrollment school which means that students can choose to come here. Our top notch teachers work collaboratively to create engaging lessons.

We intentionally mentor new teachers so that there is always support as teachers hone their craft.

We are looking for energetic, collaborative, and creative teachers who love to see kids learn and want to be an important difference maker in young adult lives.

• Experience in Title I or high‑need school settings is a plus
• Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Valid Tennessee teaching license in Science 6‑8, 6‑12 Science OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program

• Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00
• Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
