Location:

Frontier BU - Region 04 - Market 05, 11280 Dayton Pike, Soddy Daisy, Tennessee 37379. Shift Availability:
Flexible Availability. Job Type: Full-time.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management:
    Directly supervises the activities of 2 or more full-time employees, including Assistant Manager(s), Lead Representative(s) and Customer Service Representative(s). Recruits, hires and trains positive, enthusiastic employees to ensure excellent customer service. Develops, manages and assigns tasks to keep the store clean, stocked, organized and well-kept per Company standards. Maintains a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisor. Schedules employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain store image.

    Applies non-discriminatory management during hiring, training, counseling and mentoring.
  • Store Relationships:
    Develops positive relationships with suppliers; promotes excellent service and resolves customer complaints in a timely, professional manner; ensures regular onsite attendance; promotes a safe, positive public image within the community.
  • Training And Development:
    Conducts ongoing performance appraisals, providing feedback (30-, 60-, 90-day, 12-month and ongoing anniversary check-ins). Trains employees on customer service, store image, and marketing execution to meet Company standards. Trains on safety procedures and promotes safety awareness. Mentors employees on cash handling to reduce company risk. Ensures timely completion of required training.
  • Communications:
    Ensures timely and effective communication with employees and establishes periodic meetings with store staff and Market Manager.
  • Organizing And Planning:
    Develops action plans to achieve store objectives; maintains store files and manuals; supervises reports, stock levels, pricing and display; ensures posting compliance.
  • Financial:
    Analyzes daily sales and expenses, budgets and forecasts P&L; safeguards money and performs financial analyses to maximize sales and profits; notifies Market Manager of discrepancies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 to 2 years of retail experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
  • Ability to supervise and train staff in equipment, tools and materials listed in CSR/LSR/SA job descriptions.
  • Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in CSR/LSR/SA job descriptions.
  • Ability to use computer to complete and analyze reports, inventory control, cash control and employment-related forms.
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
  • Open availability.
  • Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).
  • Ability to perform essential duties and physical requirements described.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to sit for long periods.
  • Certificates & Licenses:
    Food Server certificate (e.g., Serv Safe) and Food Safety Management certification may be required.
Physical Requirements
  • Work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
  • Exposure to cold or warm temperatures in walk-in cooler/freezer and outdoors.
  • Occasionally lift/carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead.
  • Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist.
  • Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands; eye-hand coordination required.
  • Push/pull up to 20 pounds (hand-truck).
  • Able to reach overhead for objects; bend/twist at waist.
  • Operate a cash register and/or computer keyboard.
  • Stoop, kneel, squat, push and pull as required.
  • Work alone and be exposed to occasional noise.
  • Stand and/or walk for a full shift; may climb a ladder to store/retrieve materials.
Work Environment
  • 50 hours per week with shifts on weekends and holidays.
  • Predominantly indoor work; occasional outdoor duties such as parking lot and pump maintenance.
  • Exposure to extreme cold temperatures in walk-in cooler/freezer; occasional noise.
  • Work with minimal supervision and regular direction.
