Distribution Planner

$50,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr

• Manage outbound orders by confirming and approving orders daily for every part number based on each customer's consolidated ship date for 3PL warehouse. Create deliveries manually as needed.
• Review Customer Account Coordinators' urgent request and take appropriate action.
• Manage incoming shipments from origin to warehouse arrival.
• File claim with appropriate party (warehouse, forwarder, etc.) for any damaged or lost materials and follow up to ensure completion.

• Maintain/update allocation spreadsheet daily to determine available allocation for each customer and allocate based on a work instruction logic.
• Review order confirmations daily for full allocation materials based on each customer's available allocation quantity and consolidated shipping date for 3PL warehouse.
• Inform Material Planner Group regarding incoming material delays that will affect full allocation qty.

• Receive, review, and save forwarders' logs, internal invoices, and downloading and creating data used for Material Planning
• Manage carrier plate orders by processing customer orders and arranging delivery based on the due date and consolidation schedule and send shipping documents to customer.
• Create forecast data for the Accounting group and supplier.

• Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of computer software, such as SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel and order entry software. Note - SAP-R3, sales & distribution experience is desirable.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills - including effective business writing.
• Ability to communicate with our customers, sales department, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
