POSITION SUMMARY: Performs clinical and scheduling duties under the direction of a medical provider. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, verifying existing demographic information and patient history, documenting current medications, reasons for visit, preparing patients for examination and/or in office procedures, assisting providers with the administration of medications or treatments as directed by provider and telephone triage.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year of Medical Office experience or
- 1 year of Clinical Assistant experience in a Healthcare or Medical setting
- BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant,
preferred
