About UsWe are a well‑respected urgent care group in Soldotna, AK, established in 2017. Our team is highly trained and ready to collaborate to provide the highest level of care with a friendly support staff and state‑of‑the‑art equipment located on‑premises. We focus on professionalism and efficiency, ensuring timely and compassionate care for all patients.
Duties/Responsibilities- Urgent care visits for a variety of acute conditions (sick patients, minor fractures, lacerations, etc.)
- Patient examinations and maintenance of medical histories and records
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Diagnosis and formulation of treatment plans
- Prescription of medications as needed
- Minor urgent care procedures (I&D, biopsy, suturing)
- Accurate documentation of patient encounters
- Referral to specialists (PCP, PT, ER, etc.)
- Patient and family education and counseling
- Collaboration with physicians and medical staff for comprehensive patient care
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Licensed NP in AK
- Ability to see all patient age ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Experience performing urgent care duties, including suturing
- Preferably 4–5 years of experience in ER or urgent care
- Full‑time or Part‑time
- $65–$75+/hr, depending on experience
- Vacation/Holiday Pay
