Responsibilities

Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.

Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.

Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.

Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.

Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.

Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.

Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas.

Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.

Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.

Reinforce safety and food safety regulations, report unsafe conditions or equipment issues.

Create a welcoming environment, answer customer questions, and adhere to all laws and company guidelines.

Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts professionally, and act with honesty and integrity.

Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
