Are you an experienced Service Advisor looking to join a busy, professional dealership where your performance is recognised and rewarded?
We are recruiting for a Service Advisor to join an established main dealership in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive Service Advisor who enjoys building relationships with customers, managing a busy workshop diary and maximising aftersales opportunities.

- Acting as a key point of contact for customers throughout the aftersales process
- Booking vehicles into the workshop for servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Managing workshop diaries and scheduling work
- Liaising closely with Vehicle Technicians and workshop management
- Providing customers with accurate estimates for repairs and servicing
- Explaining costs, timescales and required work clearly and professionally
- Keeping customers updated throughout their vehicle’s time in the workshop
- Obtaining customer authorisation for additional work
- Promoting additional products, services, parts and accessories where appropriate
- Maximising sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service
- Ensuring customer records and relevant documentation are completed accurately
- Working towards departmental customer satisfaction and performance targets
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry at a Main Dealer is essential
- Main dealership or established independent garage experience considered
- Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills
- Confident discussing servicing, maintenance and repair requirements with customers
- Strong organisational and diary-management skills
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify and maximise sales opportunities
- Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs
- Able to manage multiple customers and priorities in a busy environment
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
