Smile Education is working in partnership with a high-achieving secondary school near Solihull to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from 23rd February until the end of the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys delivering high-quality Science education and inspiring students across the secondary age range.

The Role As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for:

Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to support KS5 where appropriate
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and participation
Maintaining strong classroom behaviour and routines
Providing occasional general cover when required to support whole-school needs

You will be joining a supportive, collaborative department with a strong focus on professional development and student progress.

The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who:

Holds a degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or similar)
Has QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and engaging teaching practice
Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
Is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential
