WMG Academy for Young Engineers Solihull is a forward-thinking secondary school dedicated to providing high-quality education with a focus on engineering and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Lead for English to join our team as Head of Department. This role will lead the English and Literature department, delivering outstanding teaching at Key Stage 4, inspiring both staff and students, and driving continuous improvement in student outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • - Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching English at secondary level
  • - Proven leadership skills within an educational setting
  • - Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 4 curriculum in English and Literature
  • - Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that meet diverse learner needs
  • - Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
