Brava Education is working with a small independent specialist school in Solihull, who are looking for an experienced Interim Headteacher to lead the school through an important period of development and Ofsted preparation.
The roleThis is a hands-on, non-teaching leadership role within a small specialist setting, supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD and some SEMH. You will lead the day-to-day running of the school, with a strong focus on Ofsted readiness and school improvement. The school needs a leader who will take ownership and lead from the front rather than simply delegate.
About you- Previous experience within an independent school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Independent School Standards.
- NPQH.
- Experience leading a small specialist setting in a hands-on, operational capacity.
- Strong understanding of curriculum, teaching and learning, SEND, safeguarding, QA and governance.
- Confident taking ownership and leading from the front.
The role is available immediately, on an interim basis through to February 2027.
