Interim Headteacher West Midlands

Brava Education is working with a small independent specialist school in Solihull, who are looking for an experienced Interim Headteacher to lead the school through an important period of development and Ofsted preparation.

This is a hands‑on, non‑teaching leadership role within a small specialist setting, supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD and some SEMH.

You will lead the day‑to‑day running of the school, with a strong focus on Ofsted readiness and school improvement.

The school needs a leader who will take ownership and lead from the front rather than simply delegate.

• Previous experience within an independent school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Independent School Standards.
• NPQH.
• Experience leading a small specialist setting in a hands‑on, operational capacity.
• Strong understanding of curriculum, teaching and learning, SEND, safeguarding, QA and governance.
• Confident taking ownership and leading from the front.

The role is available immediately, on an interim basis through to February 2027.
