We are seeking to appoint an exceptional class teacher to join our dedicated team at Sharmans Cross Junior School. The successful candidate is someone who is able to demonstrate their commitment to our pupils, their education, safeguarding and happiness. We are looking for a motivated, compassionate and proactive individual who is committed to ensure our pupils’ achieve the highest standards.
The successful candidate must:- Ensure safeguarding and safety of pupils is central to all activities
- Have high expectations, a passion for teaching and a positive outlook
- Have excellent communication skills, organisation, professionalism and the ability to work as part of a hard-working team
- Have a strong,confident and positive attitude towards making a difference to pupils’ lives
- Have a proven and highly successful record of a range of teaching experiences within primary education
- Be capable of making a positive difference to the lives of our pupils through outstanding teaching and nurturing ensuring the best progress for all children
- Be willing to contribute to the life of the school and its community
- Is committed to helping everychild to be successful and achieve well
- Believes in our school culture, values and ethos and shares the same aspirations for all aspects of our school while working in partnership with our children, staff, parents and governors
- Is committed to the wellbeing and support of our staff and children
- Will be an ambassador and advocate for our school and everything that we strive to achieve for our pupils

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure, barred list check, eligibility to work in the UK check, proof of identity, childcare disqualification check, online check, qualifications check and living/working overseas check.
