Teacher Active is proud to be working with a primary school based in Solihull, who are looking to appoint a Before School Club Assistant to join their morning provision. The school is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual who can create a welcoming, safe and positive environment for children before the school day begins.

The school is looking to take on a Before School Club Assistant on a part-time, long-term basis, starting Monday 2nd November 2026, working Monday to Friday from 7:30am until 9:00am. The successful Before School Club Assistant will be responsible for supporting children during breakfast, supervising fun and engaging morning activities, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring children feel happy, settled and ready for their school day.

The

Successful Candidate Will Have:
  • A relevant childcare or education qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience working with primary-aged children in a school, breakfast club or childcare setting
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and the importance of maintaining a safe environment
  • The ability to organise and support engaging, age-appropriate activities
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring, nurturing approach
  • A reliable, enthusiastic and positive attitude
