Electrical Engineer -  - £27.30/hr umbrella rate

What You Will Do
  • Design electrical equipment, components, facilities, and systems for commercial and industrial applications.
  • Collaborate with the wider launch team to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems during vehicle launches.
  • Manage projects and processes independently, providing expertise and guidance to team members.
  • Analyse and solve complex problems related to end‑of‑line testing and system integration.
  • Support onsite activities, including software downloads, electrical diagram reviews, and vehicle functionality verification.
  • Maintain a quality‑focused mindset, contributing to the continuous improvement of launch processes.
What You Will Bring
  • Previous experience in vehicle launch activities, particularly around end‑of‑line testing and integration support.
  • Proficiency in using Canalyser and other development tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams with a strong understanding of vehicle systems.
  • A valid driving licence to support onsite activities and vehicle functionality checks.
  • A motivated and collaborative approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced launch environment.

Location: This role is based at the Solihull Plant, with occasional support required at the Gaydon site.

This role is Inside IR35.
