Purchase Ledger; CIS

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temp-to-perm basis to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Solihull. This role offers hybrid working once settled into the position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CIS experience or a background working within a house builder or construction environment.

• Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately
• Handling subcontractor invoices and ensuring compliance with CIS requirements
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
• Dealing with supplier and internal invoice queries
• Assisting with payment runs
• Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
• Supporting month-end processes as required

• Previous experience in a purchase ledger/accounts payable role
• CIS experience is highly desirable
• Experience with in construction or house building is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Confident using finance systems and Excel
• Able to manage deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
