Corporate Tax Senior Manager

A highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Solihull is looking to strengthen its tax team with the appointment of a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, offering flexible working, a strong company pension, and much more. This role would suit an experienced Corporate Tax professional who is ready to take the next step into a senior, client-facing position. You will manage a varied portfolio of corporate clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses to larger corporate groups, providing both compliance oversight and high-level advisory support.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, overseeing compliance and advisory work
• Deliver tax planning advice on restructuring, M&A, and group reorganisations
• Review corporation tax computations prepared by junior team members
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
• Support the development and mentoring of junior staff within the tax team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
• Proven background in corporate tax at Senior Manager or Manager level
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships confidently
