Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + team efficiency incentive scheme
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule (08:30 – 17:30) |
  No weekend shifts required

Role Overview

Seeking a qualified NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Technician / VAG Specialist to join our busy workshop team. You will be responsible for executing interim and full servicing, comprehensive diagnostics, cambelt/timing belt replacements, and core mechanical repairs across a broad range of Volkswagen Group passenger cars.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (
  Essential
  ).
• Proven practical experience working with VAG marques (Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Škoda) or a strong multi-brand background with diagnostic confidence.
• Solid capability in cambelt renewals, clutch builds, diagnostic fault-finding, and general repair work.
• Active DVSA Class 4 MOT Tester Licence is an advantage, but non-essential.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

• Base: Shirley, Solihull Area (Free secure on-site parking)
• Road Links: Strategic position on the Stratford Road (A34) corridor with swift access via the M42 (Junction
  4) and A45, providing simple commutes across Solihull and the West Midlands.
• Public Transport: Excellent access via Shirley rail station and frequent local bus connections along the main routes.
• Commutable From: Shirley, Hall Green, Birmingham, Redditch, Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry, and Bromsgrove.
