Senior Commercial Manager

- Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the commercial management of multiple industrial and logistics projects from pre-construction through to final account.

Oversee cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across projects valued £20m-£150m.

Manage and mentor commercial teams, ensuring best practice and consistency across projects.

Negotiate and administer contracts, including subcontractor procurement and commercial agreements.

Manage risk, value engineering, variations, and change control to protect project margins.

Work closely with project directors, construction teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Senior Commercial Manager - Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Manager with a main contractor.

Strong background in industrial and/or logistics construction projects.

Experience managing large-scale projects valued £20m+.

Excellent contractual knowledge (e.g. JCT / NEC).

Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Happy to travel nationally to projects when required.

Senior Commercial Manager - Benefits

£105,000 - £125,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
