Commercial Account Handler

Overview

Howden is a global insurance group with 24,000 employees across 56+ countries. We are looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join our Consumer & Local Commercial team and build strong relationships with clients ranging from sole traders to senior executives.

• Build rapport with new and existing clients across the commercial spectrum.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager to achieve team objectives.
• Review client documentation to support the quoting process, ensuring information is comprehensive and accurate.
• Assist Commercial Account Executives in achieving high levels of renewal retention and exceeding customer expectations.
• Ensure FCA requirements and compliance standards are met.
• Process data promptly and accurately on relevant systems to improve client service and support internal processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contacts to maintain strong relationships.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to varied daily tasks.
• Experience or willingness to work with data processing and systems support.
