Java Developer

We are seeking Java and Lead Java Developers with current SC + NPPV3 clearance to support complex engineering, platform integration and live service environments.

What you’ll be doing

* Developing new features and integrations across secure biometric and identity platforms

* Supporting live, mission‑critical systems and troubleshooting production issues

* Building high‑quality Java microservices and APIs

* Contributing to Agile delivery teams focused on reliability, performance and secure coding

Core Skills & Experience

* Java

* Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Integration, Spring Batch

* Microservices architecture

* REST & SOAP Web Services

* JPA/Hibernate

* Postgre

SQL / Aurora

* Active

MQ or similar messaging technologies

* CI/CD:
Maven, Git, Jenkins, Sonar Qube

* Docker, Linux

* AWS (EC2, SQS, RDS, Dynamo

DB, S3, KMS, Cloud Watch)

* Experience supporting live environments

* Strong Agile mindset (Scrum, TDD, BDD)

Nice to Have

* Angular / Node.js

* SQL performance tuning

* BPMN (Activiti)

* Jaspersoft

* Spring Cloud

* Exposure to secure or regulated environments (Gov, Defence, Policing)
