Solon Pointe is seeking an organized, dependable Business Office Manager to oversee daily business office operations. This role works closely with residents, families, and facility leadership to manage billing, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with payment and coverage questions.

Responsibilities

• Manage resident billing, accounts receivable, collections, and payment posting.

• Verify insurance coverage and assist with Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer requirements.

• Track Medicaid applications, renewals, and required documentation.

• Review account balances and follow up on outstanding payments.

• Maintain accurate resident financial records and prepare reports.

• Answer resident and family billing questions with professionalism and compassion.

• Work with admissions and facility leadership to ensure billing information is complete and accurate.

• Protect confidential resident and financial information.

Qualifications

• Previous business office or billing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance billing, and accounts receivable.

• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through.

• Ability to manage deadlines and work accurately with financial information.

• Experience with Point Click Care  or similar billing software preferred.
